These paintings have developed through repetition and reworking, with shapes and marks appearing, being covered and returning in different forms. I’m interested in the relationships that emerge between things, how they sit together, apart, or somewhere in between. The works are built slowly and intuitively, allowing colour, gesture and the physical process of painting to lead the way.
