I investigate the tactile and sensory qualities of materials, experimenting with mixed media, layering, and the interplay of paint, clay and paper. Intuitive gesture guides my approach, allowing the quiet voice of my inner awareness and trusting my sense of spirituality to guide how I respond to the world around me. I see nature and interior spaces as deeply connected, and my work reflects this relationship by drawing equally from the natural environment and the intimate spaces I inhabit. I am fascinated by the interplay between nature and interior spaces, observing how landscapes, light, and natural forms echo within my intimate environments. Through layering—adding and subtracting—I develop surfaces that appear simple but hold a complexity through intention.
